Hundreds of Beautiful and Rare Carnivorous Plants At Your Fingertips
Short News from Best Carnivorous Plants Store
- 17.09.2026 - Dear friends,
Our autumn sale is now underway! Sales will end around October 20, or earlier if demand is high, to ensure all orders are shipped by the beginning of November. Sales of live plants will resume in spring 2027. Thank you for your continued loyalty and support.
The minimum order is set at EUR 200. However, higher-value orders will always receive priority access to rare plants and priority handling. Additionally, all available plants will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and many of the plants we have are only available in limited supply this season.
As usual, we primarily sell plant portions. Each pack contains a generous quantity of plants, ensuring our customers are satisfied with this policy!
Schedule for 2026–2027: We will continue selling plants until October 20, with shipping completed by the beginning of November. After this, we will take a winter break and temporarily close the shop. Sales will resume with an updated offer in spring and/or autumn 2027.
For any additions, changes, or requests, please contact us only by email, and be sure to include your order number. Please note that processing such requests may take some time, which can delay the confirmation and handling of your order. Excessive changes may cause delays or even cancellation of the order.
Due to increased administrative workload, we will not accept order merging or significant additions/changes. If you wish to modify an order, it is always faster to simply place a new order via the webshop, and the old one will be cancelled.
Please note: we are not monitoring or responding to messages via Facebook Messenger or any other chat apps at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
We truly appreciate your business and ongoing support! Your trust means a lot to us, and we are committed to meeting your expectations this growing season.
BCP is always on the lookout for new plant and seed material. If you have anything for trade, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Our work depends entirely on your support. We are especially interested in items with known origin or interesting crosses, preferably seeds. We can also sow your valuable seeds in our lab by mutual agreement. Any cooperation is highly appreciated. - 17.09.2026 - Important Information for Customers in the USA
We are very sorry, but due to complications during shipment clearance involving DHL, CBP, and USDA-APHIS, and the resulting unpredictable delays in delivery, we will not be shipping any live plants to the USA in 2026 except through a U.S. customs broker arranged by the customer.
Unfortunately, the DHL Express service we previously used has become highly unpredictable following the introduction of import tariffs, and there is a serious risk that shipments may be significantly delayed.
The condition of live plants after transportation is our highest priority. Therefore, using this service currently represents an unacceptable risk for both us and our customers.
We can provide details about possible shipping options to the USA by email upon request. However, the alternatives currently available are very limited, and the services are expensive. - 01.08.2025 - Our carnivorous plant collection is always seeking new plant and seed materials, particularly those with documented origin, as these may receive priority for something special in return. We are especially interested in localized carnivorous plant seeds from Australia and Africa, epiphytic Utricularia, Pinguicula from Mexico and South America, localized terrestrial Utricularia and Genlisea, different populations of Sarracenia purpurea, and seeds from unique Nepenthes hybrids, especially toothy species. Seeds are preferred. We welcome mutually beneficial collaborations and offer our laboratory and expertise for in-vitro sowing of your seeds. Feel free to contact us!
